Most of the time a door that will not open afterwards simply has not cooled enough yet, and it releases on its own. Three things to check before you book.
- Has the oven been completely cool for two hours or more, and the door is still locked?
- Does the oven still power on, or did it go dead at the same time?

If it has not fully cooled, wait. The latch is on a temperature interlock and it releases by itself once the cavity drops, which can take well over an hour after the cycle ends. Nothing is broken and nothing needs to be forced. If it has been cold for hours and is still locked, then the lock itself has failed, and that is a small set of parts: the latch motor, the thermal fuse, or the control board that never sent the unlock signal.
