“I had a great experience working with Philly Appliances Repair. They came by on short notice to check out my washer, diagnosed the issue quickly, and got it repaired right away. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing so I could understand a few things about how the appliance works. Communication was great from start to finish, quick responses and clear updates. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone who needs appliance repairs, and I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future needs.”

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

How much does a washer repair cost?
A flat $89 diagnostic, applied to the repair. Most washer repairs start from $245, with the exact price confirmed before any work.
Do you fix front-load and top-load washers?
Yes, both, every major brand, including stackable units.
My washer won't drain or spin, can you come this week?
Yes, those are two of the most common jobs we do, usually same-week and often same-day.
What washer brands do you work on?
Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, GE, Maytag, Frigidaire, Bosch and Speed Queen, all major brands.
Do you offer fixed price washing machine repair?
The $89 diagnostic is a fixed price and it comes off the repair. The repair gets a fixed price too, but only once the machine has been seen: you get the exact number on the spot, before any work, and you decide then. What we will not do is name a fixed price over the phone for a fault nobody can see yet. A pump, a motor or a control board is a diagnosis, not a visible part, and a number quoted sight unseen is a guess. If the broken part is something you can point at, like a torn door seal or a snapped latch, send us the model number and we can price it before we come out.
Should I repair or replace my washing machine?
It comes down to what the machine is worth, not to what broke. The calls that repeat: a front-load washer that squeals or will not spin is usually a bearing, and on most machines that is a replace. A transmission or drum on a washer worth around $800 or less, replace. A compressor on a fridge under about $3,000, replace. A glass oven door or a glass cooktop, replace, because the glass alone costs close to a new unit. Most other faults are worth fixing. We will tell you which side you are on before you spend anything, because an $89 visit on a machine that is finished is no good for you and no good for us.
