Clear and simple, the way we like it. These terms cover how a Philly Appliances Repair service call works.
A flat $89 service call fee covers the technician's visit and full diagnosis of your appliance. If you approve the repair, the $89 is applied toward your total repair cost. If you choose not to proceed, the $89 service call fee still applies and is non-refundable.
After diagnosis you receive a clear, written price before any repair work begins. No work is performed, and no repair charges apply, until you approve the estimate.
We focus on honest value. If a repair costs more than the appliance is worth, we will tell you and recommend against it, even when it costs us the job. We service refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens and stoves, and dishwashers.
Repairs we perform are backed by a 90-day warranty on the work and the parts we install, covering the same issue we repaired. Manufacturer warranties on parts apply where longer. The warranty does not cover new, unrelated issues or damage from misuse.
Payment is due on completion of the repair. We accept major cards, Cash App, and Venmo. We do not accept personal checks.
You agree to provide safe access to the appliance at the scheduled window. If you need to reschedule, please let us know in advance. Arrival windows are estimates and may shift due to prior jobs.
For your safety, we do not service active gas leaks. If you suspect a gas leak, leave the home and call your gas utility or 911 immediately.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair performed. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, consequential damages, or issues unrelated to the repair we performed.
